Wound Up

Do you ever feel as if you are curled in on yourself, protecting what is most fragile inside you by wrapping it tight? What would it feel like to release that tension, to allow your body to stretch out in trust that there is room for you—all of you—in this world?

  1. Through my religion, creating music and art, reading a good book, working in the spirit of service to others and through vigorous physical exercise. These activities help me to shed tension, open up and maintain focus.

  2. I am a volunteer with a professional association I belong to. It gets me in front of a lot of people and challenges me to go outside my comfort zone.
