  1. For me, two things: (1) necessity) or (2) desire. Although I need assistance for the hard to reach places, I have someone who helps me. (I have already heard of the story about someone’s mom falling from the stool when trying to fix a lightbulb high up in the room). Desire? Well, sometimes making a change is only because of boredom, seeing something that I think would be better another way. However, the other kinds of changes that are more difficult are those which involve relationships with others. Some come because of self realization that a change would be advantageous. Others are because of the relationship, either person or animal or situation, Sadness, danger or wiseness to instigate change in some relationships can be extremely difficult, but necessary.
