Can’t Judge a Book

We judge books by their covers all the time. We also judge people based on a variety of factors like size, age and color that tell us remarkably little about the person inside.

What helps you to look beyond the surface of the people you meet?

  1. “A book by its cover” is a wonderful example of appearances for good or ill. Book covers also have titles on them – to carry the analogy a step further – which can provoke interest – or mistakenly prompt an assumption about the contents.
