The ukulele is not the kind of instrument that you play in a symphony. It’s little and quiet, and really pretty easy, as instruments go. It’s also joyful and fun and perfect for enticing people into singing along.
What not very impressive accomplishment brings you joy?
Our congregation has a Ukulele Orchestra called For UU. It brings us and them so much joy! It is also an impressive accomplishment especially for many who have now found a way to participate in our music program and were given an opportunity to learn to play in community with others.
