Work Harder

There are so many cultural messages telling us to work harder, to “go big or go home,” to prove our worth by what we do. But it is possible that working harder might not be the secret to success, especially if you define success as life satisfaction or happiness.

  1. Hmm… working harder. Sage counsel also offers, “work smarter.” To me this meant analyze the situation, involve key others in approaching a solution or desired outcome, and give credit where credit is due. Many hands can make work less onerous, and their ideas and effort can go a long way to find success.
