Have you ever stretched out your back on a yoga ball—or a giant pumpkin? Sometimes stretching ourselves is uncomfortable and scary, and we resist trying something new or threatening. But sometimes the stretch is a relief, releasing us from habits that make us stiff and unyielding.

I went to a dog training class today. While my dog and I have gone almost every week for about a year now, it’s still a stretch for both of us. Both of us get nervous, her even more so than me.

Pushing my voice to its limits, for church’s special music tomorrow ….. and trying hard not to get so easily frustrated, when multi-tasking (which used to be so easy for me) gets me too jittery and worked-up – at which point, only my partner/lover can calm me down, when she is here… She, always, knows the right words/touch to sooth my spirit and keep me from getting embittered towards “technology”. – lol
