Each of us is on a path through life, and ultimately each of us must walk that path for and by ourselves. And yet, even at the times that we feel most alone, we are always accompanied. Perhaps you have not noticed that the trees themselves are reaching out their arms as you walk past.
Where do you look for company when you feel alone?
I have some people I email and sometimes I cuddle with my dogs or hang out with my family. However, I often still feel lonely as my pen pals don’t always have the time or energy to respond, I can’t talk to my dogs, and I can say almost as little to my family. I’d love to have a better support net, some local friends and so on, but I’m not sure how to go about getting that. So for the time being, I spend a lot of time feeling very alone.
I’m with you on that Martin. And the joy of hearing from pen pals is fleeting.
Where do you look for company when you feel alone?…
What’s the use? Nobody wants to keep me company – in the physically intimate way I need, when I feel alone. It makes more logical sense, to just get used to the fact that I am going to live my life and die ….. alone. … There are worse things, in Life. I know, because I’ve been through most of them, already.
Namaste!

When i’m lonely i take a walk through nature and listen to the pretty birds and feel the wind as it blows it’s cool breeze.I stop by a running brook and see the fish below the water and wonder how lonely they look. The sun has come through the clouds above and i feel lonely no more.
