Is the tree hanging on by its roots, struggling to keep from falling in the water, or is it leaning in toward the Source of Life, eager to be ever closer the water that sustains it?
How do you lean in toward the Source of Life?

Maybe the answer is ‘it depends’ – there certainly have been times in my life when I’ve leaned into ‘Source’ & times when I’ve held struggled to hold on to keep from toppling over.
One thing I’ve learned in the 7 decades of this lifetime is that both times were necessary to give me the ‘tools’ to become who I am.
GRATITUDE has been the most useful ‘tool’ I’ve used.
How interesting that I am writing a poem about the song that used to be my favorite: “It’s just you and me against the world.”
It just popped into my head this morning along with the realization that I no longer need to think/believe that.
I spend time with friends. They are a source of life for me.
