If you’re a duck, you might feel that the elegant black swan is looking down at you from his regal height. Then again, if you’re the black swan, you might imagine that the duck is quacking at you behind your back about odd red nose.
What do you do when you imagine that others are judging you?
I try to filter out what may be my own paranoia getting the better of me. If I really suspect that I am being judged by others, I make a point of remembering that the judgements of total strangers don’t really affect me that much.
This post spoke to me about perspective more than anything. We’ve all been both duck and swan at one time or another, neither right or wrong, neither easy or hard.
