Chicks cannot hatch or thrive without the warmth of their mother – unless someone provides that warmth another way.

GIRLFRIENDS are the best!
As a youngster I often was alone in the world, left to deal with the pain, loneliness and disappointments of life on my own. As a consequence, I learned to take care of myself and provide for my own needs. The warmth and support I give to myself is more than enough for me to thrive as an individual. I consider the relationships I have with others to be a blessing and a bonus, but not critical to my own survival.
