There are some things one remembers even though they may never have happened.
―Harold Pinter
What do you remember clearly that others assure you never happened?

I’m certain there are more than a few false memories floating around up there. We all have them and most are harmless. I can clearly remember being home with my mother the day JFK was assassinated, but when I do the math I was six years old and probably sitting in my fist grade classroom. My mother has no memory of where I was either way. When I contemplate such matters, this poem always comes to mind. Poe said it best!
“All that we see or seem
Is but a dream within a dream.”
