“My own prescription for health is less paperwork and more running barefoot through the grass.” —Terri Guillemets
What is your prescription for health?

My prescription for health is as old as “an apple a day.” I follow a healthy food plan: vegetables, fruit, whole grains, occasional meat/fish, dessert (rarely), and a glass of wine or beer now and then. Daily exercise, which typically means walking the dogs, but gets a bit more strenuous when I have the time. Early to bed and early to rise. Daily journaling. The plan reads like something my grandmother would have advised. She was a smart cookie.
I find positive in the negative. For example, my recent negative is that I broke my arm. While enroute to the Emergency Room, I expressed the positive in that it was not my dominant arm.
My prescription for health is staying very active and trying my best to eat healthy. Exercise helps me tremendously in coping with stress and washing away the winter blues. I can hardly wait to dig my heels into the pavement when it warms up enough outside, come on spring!
