In the winter, when the trees are missing the luxuriance of leaves, you can see down to their structure, to the beauty of the form that lies underneath.

After being laid off for almost a year and a half, my career is no longer my live.
Trees at their barest point can bring thoughts of desolation and sadness. However, perhaps they have their place in the scheme of things; if we can think of the fact that deciduous trees renew themselves again in the coming seasons, hopefully we can think of that happening in our own lives. Good as well as bad things come along in our lives. Watch for the good surprises, I say to myself.
