“Pursuing” can be rapid or slow (remember the tortoise and the hare?). I am trying to accommodate to the re/placement or disposal of “things” in my life. Since retirement I have enjoyed several activities, one of which is looking for interesting objects to fill up my rental home. I like them but I know I must find other homes for many of them. So…I am pursuing, rather slowly, but with purpose, this process while trying to continue participation in groups and events I also include in my life. I am searching for the most efficient method to do this because I know that eventually some will need to be disposed of and there are some special pieces and things I want to go to others. My plan about the ones I have no particular place to send is to dispose of them and know that “someone” will enjoy them eventually. It is amazing how glued to “things” one can become.
