A stethoscope is a clever device that doctors use to listen to a patient’s heart. It would be great to have something that would work so handily to help us listen to our own hearts.
What helps you to listen to your own heart?

I know that this question is intended to have a psychological intent, and I do “listen” to my (emotional) heart. There are times when I assist homeless people on the street or ones who appear I need local transportation without regard for consequences. However, I also actually DO listen to my heart, finding my pulse so that I know that it is beating regularly and correctly. You see, I, as many others, have atrial fibrillation and there are times when it gets out of sync. Treating medically and monitoring my pulse once in a while and stopping to un-stress, lets me get on with life once again.
