Extravagant Welcome

Fancy HouseSure, it might be a bit much, all that house, all those colors, that wide a shady porch. But don’t you sometimes wish you could offer that extravagant a welcome?

Who or what do you welcome with the brightest flowers and biggest rooms of your heart?

  1. Mostly I welcome my friend Will with my heart. He has shown friendship, courtesy and pleasure I had never previously experienced. Although he and I are each growing older in our own different ways, we still find mutual pleasure in our company together when we have the opportunity. Oh, yes, I do also enjoy laughing at the funny animals and birds that hop or scurry into my yard and I tease them, even if they don’t know it, but person to person is the most enjoyable and valuable relationship I know of.

  2. I probably welcome my dog more than anyone else. I’m almost always happy to see her, even when I’m depressed or anxious.

    1. That’s a good feeling, I think, Martin. Pets can provide us with help and love sometimes when people can’t.

  3. In the Midwest, I welcome our granddaughters and family and friends!!
Our granddaughters are grand with lots of energy and fun times.
In Tucson, we welcome our new friends that we have met and begun to share many southwest adventures together.
    It’s very welcoming!!!
