Sometimes feeling like you’re in the lap of luxury just requires something as simple as an actual lap—or a comfy chair, a good book, or the perfect cup of tea. Sure, a vacation at a spa or a tropical resort would be great, but most luxuries are much closer to home.
What small, daily thing provides you with a sense of comfort or luxury?
My dog’s fur is certainly luxurious: very soft and shiny like golden tinsel in sunlight. Her personality is even better 🙂
Having moved about quite bit during my life, I haven’t purchased much furniture. However, recently I purchased a comfortable black sofa and a white recliner. Both are places I like to sit and be comfortable. Accompanying this with a nice cup of freshly brewed Earl Grey tea is my idea of luxury and comfort.
Relaxing in the recliner with my feet up and my guinea pig snuggling on my bosom, and watching one of my favorite shows.
Or, if I’m really lucky, when my best friend rubs my shoulders.
