What beauty do you find when you shift your gaze to a longer view?
Yes, the apparent downfalls of daily life can grab one sometimes quickly. For instance, the toilet doesn’t work; the battery in one’s watch goes dead. Then I can say to
myself, “Oh, I don’t have time to do this right now”. Sometimes it’s literally true but somehow the really important ones do get done. Then when there is time to relax and I look at my life situation in the whole, I know that life is worthwhile as well as being very beautiful.
