“For me, every hour is grace. And I feel gratitude in my heart each time I can meet someone and look at his or her smile.”
—Elie Wiesel
Whose smile feels particularly like grace to you?

My husband since he’s so often grouchy.
My unattached partner/friend has an incurable illness and is physically confined much of the time to mobile assistance vehicles. He has difficulty moving around in his apartment from place to place. However, when I see his smile in the face of his adversities, I realize the courage that he has in enduring his difficulties. Something added to his smile, is even more important, I believe: the twinkle in his eyes which may mean that he is ready to divulge a comment or joke to soften the difficulties of the moment.
Laughing helps so much!
