Strawberries

StrawberriesThese strawberries are perfectly ripe. Yesterday they were the tiniest bit green and tomorrow they will start to bruise or shrivel. They will only be perfectly firm, perfectly sweet, if you eat them today.

What will you seize on to enjoy today, knowing that tomorrow may be too late?

  1. I’ll eat (and share) a perfectly ripe cantaloupe. There is nothing more delicious that one; cutting in and splitting it open at the middle part, and then finding that it is perfect in color, in texture, with healthy looking streams of perfect seeds…and then scooping them out, cutting small chunks of lovely orange tinged colored cantaloupe and tasting the first bit of sweet, juicy and an interesting one- of- a- kind- flavor….why wait?
