In the Wind

InTheWindWe are, all of us, shaped by our environment. Like the tree that leans to the side from growing in the persistent wind, each of us incorporates the world which surrounds us into the shape of our lives.

How is your environment shaping your life?

  1. I’m going to answer this thoughtful question with one that addresses the inner. My inner environment is more and more cautious of pessimistic people. Several of my long time friends with whom I have enjoyed support and have tried to give it to them suddenly seem to be so down and cynical about their lives as well as the whole wide world. I find it just too difficult to cope with so I steer clear of being in close contact with them I know that it is “better” to stay faithful to friends but I feel at this time a bit like the leaning tree in this illustration, leaning too much toward their direction. Because of this, it is best, I believe, to remain upright and be part of happier situations with other upbeat people.
