You can see all of the crazy, silly actions of teenagers outside at a concert or traveling on the bus and think “Well, this generation is flowing toward…..(take your choice” when suddenly you find another young person in a scruffy tee shirt who comes over to the car and offers to help someone get out of the car by helping with him with his walker. I believe that compassion is creeping into teenagers’ perceptive of where they fit into the world; individualism is good but tempered with compassion for others is better. I see it more often now than in previous generations.
