“so long as you haven’t experienced
this: to die and so to grow,
you are only a troubled guest
on the dark earth.”
–Goethe
How have you grown through allowing something in your life to die?

I began my adult life the historical period in which almost all of my sorority sisters expected to marry men, help to produce families and live happily ever after. Many have. I followed a different path and through trials and tribulation, found partners whom I discovered were not those with whom I would live my life with. Now, in older age, I have meet a man whom I trust, find delightful and caring and when we have the time to spend together, I am pleased to have this ending of life experience enjoying it with him.
