Changing my career profession mid stream: I worked as an
art teacher /consultant for quite a few years; the I worked in the Peace Corps for two years and established a small but popular children’s library in the barriada where I lived in South America. Coming back to the States, I decided to become a librarian and I had opportunities to get into the field and ended up serving as the State Youth Consultant at the MO State Library for 18 years.
