“Let a joy keep you. Reach out your hands and take it when it runs by.”
–Carl Sandburg
What joy are you reaching toward?

What a joy it would be to realize that the things around me, while lovely, are just a temporal part of my living. May I think of them as “gifts” for others, whether paid for or given to those who receive them. I want to realize that someone else can enjoy having them as much or more than I do. Even the throwaways can contribute to recycling efforts that we must make to keep our planet rolling around healthfully.
Joy at thinking I may finally be able to leave regressive Arizona and return to the northwest where I can rejoin a brick and mortar church. Our home sale is finally pending and family is coming to help us move. Sorry CLF.
