You might dress up for church, or for work, or for a date or a concert or a party. Or you might dress up so that you could match the beauty of what you see around you, or as preparation for the road ahead.
What sort of outfit best suits what you see before you?
During my retirement years, I have determined to be comfortable. Hence, it’s T shirts and pants for me most of the time. The one strange fashion statement I make is matching my socks with the T shirt; either, figured, white or black. There are exceptions, of course, but I have about 50 T shirts to choose from. It is almost a joke to consider this, I know, but that way I have something funny to consider in my dress style. Whether my projection around town is one of carelessness I don’t know. Actually some style is involved. If people often take a simple personal outfit as an under educated person’s character; so be it! Other occasions allow me to project my other mature, grown-up nature where I can choose other styles. Others may try to reflect an image of respectful garb all the time. but to me, being myself , comfortable and casual most of the time in everyday garb, suits me.
