I have a friend in the advanced stages of Parkinson’s Disease: it IS a disease that affects the whole body and mind. When I was visiting today, I saw immediately an arm with a large bandage on his arm and heard him telling his assistant that his arm hurt. Then I put two and two together and realized that he had undergone a serious enough fall that the bandage and the hurting resulted from it. He lives in a care center and I always hope that they truly do care to help. They do, I believe. The first impression of anything like this is ,however, now to me each time.
