Still Fluffy

Piping Plover and its ChickBaby birds go through a stage when their feathers are just fluffy down—utterly adorable, but no use for flying. But any new endeavor goes through that fluffy stage in which we are simply not prepared to launch yet.

What in your life feels like it is still fluffy and not quite ready to take flight?

  1. I feel that, as I age, I am unable and uncertain as how to realize what I will become. Our physical bodies as well as our mental capacities change and it is somewhat of a mystery as to what will lie on the road ahead. I suppose it is somewhat akin to the early development as a baby who begins to realize and then incorporate new things all the time. I think that life is somewhat like that at the end as well as at the beginning.
