“Human beings love stories because they safely show us beginnings, middles and ends.”
—A. S. Byatt
What part of your own story do you really wish that you could safely see?

My life has been a double vision for me: one is that I am “an artist”; the other is that I am not. I’ve studied and personally practiced painting as well as other forms of artistic expression, but almost always with a lingering doubt that “I wasn’t good enough to be called AN ARTIST”. Others describe me as such but I wonder if they see me as the kind of person who sees the world from a visual aspect rather than an actual person who produces art and is pleased with the activity and the results. It is a continuing concern for me and probably will always be so.
