“Be willing to be a beginner every single morning.”
―Meister Eckhart
How are you a beginner today?
One thought on “Every Morning”
Perhaps I become a beginner each day when I open my eyes. I find my life to be one in which visual opportunities play a huge part. In the morning, observing the piercing of the sunlight through the lower leaves and branches of the trees outside of my kitchen window paint a beautiful scene in any season, even when the pattern is one of stark weaving bare branches. Other seasons offer special beauties. In the autumn evenings, when the sun is setting, the tall trees offer a background of bright yellow sunlight color with the now shaded lower branches in front still in quiet greens. This gives me a panorama of such variety; how could one not appreciate such beauty?
