Self-Acceptance

lightbulb“The truth is: Belonging starts with self-acceptance. Your level of belonging, in fact, can never be greater than your level of self-acceptance, because believing that you’re enough is what gives you the courage to be authentic, vulnerable and imperfect.”
—Brené Brown

What have you come to accept about yourself?

  1. I accept that I am doing good and bad things in my life. It is the human condition, I believe. I try to recognize what is the good, or at least the better and do that. When I realize that I have done something not good or bad, I try to learn from that and make it better or try to avoid doing it again. I fervently hope that this is the way I will be seen by others (or judged, if it comes to that) as my life passes along through the days.
