“Prayer begins where human capacity ends.”

It seems to me that ever since the Presidential election all of your posts have been about prayer.
Is this coincidence or is your administrator trying to tell us something? Please get back to the regular program. Thank you.
Daily Compass draws inspiration from the monthly theme on our sister site Quest for Meaning. In November, that theme is Prayer. You can read more about it in this month’s issue of Quest magazine on our sister site https://www.questformeaning.org/spiritual-reflections/quest-monthly/ and if it doesn’t suit you so much, be sure to stay tuned. In December, we will explore the theme of “Waiting”.
“Prayer begins where human capacity ends”, a quotation that Marian Anderson used in her daily and professional life many times. As I think of this, I think of to whom the prayer is addressed. There must, in some way. be a recipient to a prayer. Finding that “recipient” can be very difficult. I believe. One’s own way of seeking for that source must be part of that process of identification.
I sometimes think that , when or if I “pray”, I am not only talking to myself but that something else in the Universe hears it too.
