A single pumpkin, so round and ridged and richly orange, would be sufficient cause for celebration and thanksgiving. Just imagine—we live in a world where there are not only pumpkins, there is also pie!
What form of abundance do you give thanks for today?
Having lived for a while in near desert conditions, I realize, now that I think of it, how much I relish LEAVES. Seeing them begin to bud and grow in the Spring; watching the fullness of Summer and listening to the different sounds that they and the wind produce as well as the soothing shade they give us; the colors of Autumn (I always pick up favorites to bring home and dry; the loss of them from bare branches on Winter (but with memories attached)……..I would miss their presence and, where I live, their great abundance.
