The World as it will Be

  1. Most and foremost, the computer, even though I rebelled against it when I was “given one” at work. It replaced almost all of my work and without any previous help or training. I still wonder how I survived. However, nine months into retirement, I “birthed” my own first computer and gradually live with it now, thankfully. I groaned, too, at the advent of TV until a family member gave me one and kept it for me while I was in the Peace Corps Peru, I left it behind and was basically out of communication using either of these for two years. And to mention another, come to think of it. the cell phone! Well, I have adapted somewhat to each, step by step. I suppose that driverless cars will be the next on the horizon.
