“If there is no struggle, there is no progress.”
—Frederick Douglass
What are you willing to struggle for?

A struggle that I recognize is the abuse of young children…whether mental or physical. I recognize it in the grocery store, or at a game or at another event or along the sidewalk. What happens however is this: I am not a parent although I can emotionally connect with what is happening. I sometimes go back in my thinking that the parent or guardian is inept or at the end of his/her string. I wish I had more confidence to determine what I can do in these situations to try to offer helpful advice so that it doesn’t happen again.
