Not all of us are early birds who rise with the sun, but each of us has a beginning to our day, an opportunity to welcome a new start.
How do you begin your day?

Nothing romantic, spiritual, physical or meditative I’m afraid. At the computer I play 5 games: Free Cell, Spider Solitaire, then Rummy Squares and a couple of other Hoyles. Then check the featured news stories, hit e-mail and my on-line newspapers. Whew! Time to feed the animals and start the day.
I rise at different times, usually after the early birds are gone…but when I do, my ritual is to go to the front door, unlock the dead bolt, open the door, “feel” the weather, see if the paper is here yet, then circle around the main floor to open blinds to let the weather symbols in and then…..decide what to do with the rest of the day!
