I have invited friends to join me tomorrow in the park (4th of July) to jointly read the Declaration of Independence aloud (NPR idea) and perhaps spend some time that morning talking about, while imbibing with BYOB. It seems to me to be appropriate to look it over again and see what started all of this country’s work to become a healthy, hopeful democracy.
