I have a history of “working with kids”…as a teacher, art consultant, children’s librarian,
RE teacher, etc. During these times, I have been a story teller to groups of young ones. At first, I felt so hesitant and was sometimes distracted by different happenings, (one was when a frantic large dog ran around and around the group until an assistant got it to leave the library(!) but just having the confidence to prepare, practice, project, to realize the reaction of my audience… did eventually give me the courage to be relatively confident storyteller!
