It takes some daring to shine your little light when you don’t know that anyone will even see it. But light your own way. If you become a beacon for someone else, that’s a bonus.

As our faith community spent this last month considering the theme, COURAGE, I have learned that courage by itself likely contains an element of fear or disbelief. In a small group discussion, there was a time, sad for us to hear, of the lack of ways for that person to help out a dying sibling. I will use my heart to offer to help write letters to the ill sibling on the part of the one who wants to help in some way from a distance. I am willing to offer and accept either acceptance or rejection.
