While society recognizes the sacrifice of those who serve in the military, the sacrifices made by their family members often go unnoticed. Enduring hardship for a cause you believe in is one kind of sacrifice. Enduring hardship for a person you believe in is another.
Who have you sacrificed to support?
This is a particularly interesting post, because I’ve been working on a sermon to be presented November 10th, the day before Veterans Day, at Tapestry UU of Houston. It is designed to remember and honor the families of veterans. The title, “Veterans and the Families They Make”.
