A lot of ministry is done not in the congregation but out in the community. Chaplains attend to the spiritual health of patients in hospitals and servicemembers in the military. Community ministers feed the hungry, house the homeless, and heal the sick. They educate, advocate, and agitate. We honor all of the ways that community ministry happens.
How does your faith call you out into your community?
Gran parte del ministerio no se lleva a cabo en la congregación sino en la comunidad. Los capellanes atienden la salud espiritual de los pacientes en los hospitales y de los miembros del servicio militar. Los ministros comunitarios alimentan a los hambrientos, alojan a los desamparados y curan a los enfermos. Educan, defienden y agitan. Honramos todas las formas en las que se desarrolla el ministerio en la comunidad.
