I have had several jobs in which my predecessors were beloved. It is a humbling experience to come into a new position on the day the denomination renames the award in the field for your predecessor. And what I’ve learned is that the less time I spend trying to be someone else (or to live up to someone else’s example), the better. It is always better to be exactly who I am. -Michael Tino (CLF)
