Realness

“May we have the courage to be real—bare seams, imperfections, tears, warts and all. May this be the place where we love one another into all of our realness, all of our humanity.” -Teri Schwartz

  1. When I was young, I discovered that telling the truth was so much easier than the opposite. Being real and honest meant that you didn’t have to remember the lies you told. You could just be who you are.

  2. I love that Melody! Yes it is easier to remember truth over lies.

I am learning that peace comes into my life when I can embrace my imperfections and mistakes. Sometimes the more I try to avoid accepting the imperfections the more others also fail to accept me.
