Most people celebrate Mother’s Day, honoring their own mother. But today would also be a good day to celebrate Mothers’ Day—a day to honor all mothers, everyone who does the difficult and loving work of preparing a new generation to take their place in the world.

That can be good advice. Drive through. Don’t stop and obsess about things could have been different, should have been different. Drive through. Do what you need to do and move on.
